Eaton High School cafeteria

February 18th

Students who have achieved 7-12th grade status are eligible to take college courses at no charge to them in the State of Ohio under the College Career Plus program.  This program allows students to take college courses and receive college and high school credit at the same time.  The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide for a wider variety of options to high school students.

The college and universities have their own applications and strict deadlines for admission that the student is required to follow.  All parents and students interested must attend an informational meeting that is scheduled for February 18th from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Eaton High School cafeteria.

Immunization Update!

Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, students entering the 12th grade are required to have 2 doses of MCV4 (meningococcal- serogroup A, C, W, and Y).

This means that those students who are currently in 11th grade, will have to be vaccinated with this vaccines before the beginning of school in the fall.  Any student not submitting documentation of this vaccine may be excluded from school.

To have your child vaccinated, call and schedule an appointment with your primary care physician or call the Preble County General Health District Immunization Clinic.  The PCGHD Immunization Clinic is held every Monday (except holidays) from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.   Please contact the PCGHD at 937-472-0087 ext. 226 to schedule an appointment or for additional information.
