Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, students entering the 12th grade are required to have 2 doses* of MCV4 (meningococcal- serogroup A, C, W, and Y).
This means that those students who are currently in 11th grade, will have to be vaccinated with this vaccines before the beginning of school in the fall. Any student not submitting documentation of this vaccine may be excluded from school.
To have your child vaccinated, call and schedule an appointment with your primary care physician or call the Preble County General Health District Immunization Clinic. The PCGHD Immunization Clinic is held every Monday (except holidays) from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please contact the PCGHD at 937-472-0087 ext. 226 to schedule an appointment or for additional information.
